Drinkability

At the hockey game, my friend propped his beer bottle on his knee. He agreed to hold still so I could capture the bottle, with the game in soft focus in the background. I tried about a dozen combinations of exposures, with and without the flash, before settling on this one.

He was really thirsty when we got done.

Shutter: 1/60, f/3.5, ISO 400, 25mm

    This is a true "game" picture! I'd say you captured your goal brilliantly! Now, Val, let that poor guy drink his beer (it was probably warm before he got to it)! :)

    Seems like a great commercial to me. Think the game in the background adds to point of the beer.

    What a good and patient friend! Nice composition in this one and a good choice to go with the soft focus background. I like how you got such a deep saturation on the color of the beer.
