Nice job of keeping the reflections off his glasses! Can you get a little more saturation in the cotton candy to bring the pink out stronger? It might be fun to see the shot with selective coloring too, making him black and white with just the pink cotton candy.
Karen - this cotton candy was REALLY pink, but the soft flash (night portrait mode) washed it out. I pinked it up as best I could...tried more but it started to get black. I didn't think about selective color. Would have been a fun choice.
This made me laugh this morning (even before my coffee)! :) Good one Val!

ReplyDeleteVampire cotton candy, it has drained all the blood from his body, leaving him ashen, great effect shot, and keeps the theme.
ReplyDeleteThe bottom shot really works - I'll have to do some experimenting myself.
ReplyDeleteLike the selective color. It really lets that pink pop!
ReplyDeleteOoohh - I like the selective color, it's really fun and whimsical.
ReplyDeleteI like the selective color too, it makes the cotton candy all the more tooth achingly sweet. Ditto on keeping the reflection off the glasses.
